7/8" Handlebar Kill / Start Switch Assembly

A compact, universal handlebar control setup featuring a run/kill toggle switch and momentary electric start button. Designed for clean installs on custom builds, engine swaps, and replacement setups using standard CDI wiring.

Wiring Overview

This switch uses two separate 2-pin male connectors, each dedicated to a specific function:

Start Button (Momentary)

• Wire Colors: Black + Yellow/Red
• Function: Sends a momentary signal to engage the starter solenoid
• Operation:
  Pressing the button connects Black ↔ Yellow/Red

Typical Use:

• Yellow/Red → Starter solenoid trigger wire
• Black → Ground or keyed power (depending on setup)

Kill / Run Toggle Switch

• Wire Colors: Green + Black/White
• Function: Grounds the ignition circuit to stop the engine
• Operation:
  • RUN position: Open circuit (engine runs)
  • OFF position: Connects Green ↔ Black/White (kills spark)

Typical Use:

• Black/White → CDI kill wire
• Green → Ground
