Pit Bike 12V Electric Starter Solenoid

This 12V electric starter solenoid is a universal replacement used on most pit bikes, mini bikes, and small engine electric start systems. It works perfectly with all of our wiring harnesses and electric start engines.

The solenoid functions as a heavy-duty relay that connects the battery directly to the starter motor when the starter button is pressed.

Large Posts (Starter Circuit):
The two large terminals act as the main switch between the battery and the starter motor.

• One post connects to Battery Positive (+)
• One post connects to the Starter Motor
• These posts are simply the two ends of the internal switch, so they are not polarity sensitive.

Small Trigger Wires:
The two smaller wires activate the solenoid when 12V is applied.

• One wire connects to +12V from the starter button
• One wire connects to ground

The trigger wires are also not polarity sensitive, so either wire can be used for power or ground.

This style solenoid is commonly used on aftermarket engines used in CT70, Z50, ATC70, pit bikes, and other small bikes. Simple, durable, and easy to wire into any electric start setup.
