ZS190 ZS212 Daytona Anima Stronger Decompression Spring

This reinforced decompression spring is 70% stronger, designed specifically for Zongshen 190–212cc and Daytona Anima 150cc + engines. It reduces the load on the starting chain by preventing the inertia weight from swinging before the engine starts. Additionally, it mitigates kickbacks during engine shutdown.

Key Features:

• Original Spring vs. 70% Stronger Spring:
  • 9 coils → 10 coils
  • 0.2 mm wire thickness → 0.3 mm wire thickness

Installation Notes:

1. Adjustments Due to Length:
   The stronger spring is 1 mm longer than the original, which may cause the inertia weight to jam. If this occurs:

   • Straighten the Retention Plate: Carefully adjust the retention plate using a vise attached to the engine.
   • Alternatively, remove a portion of the end of the inertia weight.
     

2. Spring Positioning:

   • Ensure the spring is correctly positioned to prevent breakage.
   • The weight must move freely without excessive play. Improper movement will prevent the arm from interrupting the cam roller.
